Environmental Statement

We are committed to reducing our footprint as an organisation which is why we are committed to ISO 14001. Where possible we send documents via email (including licence material and invoices) and have introduced both energy saving and recycling policies throughout the organisation.

History

2008 - Installed new air conditioning unit in server room that switches itself off when not needed
          Introduced new office policies to reduce use of electricity (monitors, lights, cooling etc.)
          Increased recycling of waste materials

2007 - Awarded ISO 14001 for environmental standards
          Switched to using low wattage terminals with our servers rather than PC's
          Introduced nightly and weekend server shutdown policy for non-essential servers

2006 - Introduced electronic invoicing and electronic licences to clients
          Switched to use local suppliers for IT equipment

2005 - Switched to recycled paper for majority of paperwork
          Installed internal sensors for lights
